Paul Henderson played on the wing for 13 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Detroit Red Wings, Toronto Maple Leafs and Atlanta Flames. Henderson is best known for scoring the winning goals in the last three games of the 1972 Summit Series against the USSR, the final one winning the series for Canada. Paul collected 236 goals and 241 assists in 707 NHL games, along with 283 points in 360 games in the WHA. Mr Henderson was inducted into the Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame in 1995, and into Canada’s Walk of Fame in 2012.
