NHL 2015 Season - Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Montreal Canadiens

NHL 2015 Season kicked off on Wednesday October 7, 2015 with the Toronto Maple Leafs facing the Montreal Canadiens at the Air Canada Centre. Despite the Leafs' diligent training, they fell 3-1 to the Canadiens in the opener game.

The Leafs delivered a great performance against their more talented opponent, who had to work for the two points in the 3rd period. Their hard work is apparent, which is a relief to the Leafs fans who still remember the heart-breaking end last season.

“We had good structure, we played hard enough,” said Michael Babcock, head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs. “We can still get way better, obviously. There’s no moral victories in the NHL, but the process is there and they are trying.”
