This collector's print is a joint project of the CBC and Ken Danby Studios to commemorate the 50th anniversaries of both the CBC and their broadcasts of Hockey Night in Canada. It has been personally autographed by Canadian Hockey Legend Paul Henderson and artist Ken Danby, and comes complete with a Certificate of Authenticity. This Edition is limited to 1952 pieces.

This finished frame measures 31.5"x40".

"The image on the screen is an accurate depiction of the most famous play in Canadian hockey history - Paul Henderson's dramatic goal in the Canada-Russia series of 1972 - when he clinched the series with less than a minute remaining. Hockey Night in Canada's crew was there, in Moscow, with Foster Hewitt broadcasting the game back to Canada on CBC television. More Canadians watched this event than had seen the first moon walk. It was a national phenomenon.

The painting is not intended to depict any particular time period, but symbolically represent the entire era of 50 years of Hockey Night in Canada. Henderson's goal on the screen doesn't necessarily mean that the children are watching the live broadcast, as it has been shown numerous times since."
